Join the Frederick Douglass Memorial and Historical Association (FDMHA) on Tuesday June 6 at the Frederick Douglass Home, 1411 W Street SE, Washington DC, for an event celebrating their 117th Anniversary and honoring the 200th birthday of Frederick Douglass.
The Association will donate 250 copies of a special Bicentennial edition of the “Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass: An American Slave” written by Frederick Douglass.
These books will be distributed to students for free while the supply lasts. Kenneth B. Morris, Jr., the great, great, great grandson of Frederick Douglass, and FDMHA Trustees, will be on hand to meet the students. The program begins at 2 PM and ends at 4 PM Tuesday June 6 at 1411 W Street S.E.
